Selling a CNC mill →Machines over 1 ton ยท Running or not
Mills, machining centres, lathes, routers, plasma and laser tables. Send us the make, model and a few photos and we'll come back with a quote. On pickup day we load the machine and haul it out of your shop.
Picking up across Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and the Sea-to-Sky, from Squamish and Pemberton down to Chilliwack.
Min1 ton
1 ton is 2,000 lb, about 907 kg. Benchtop mills, desktop routers and hobby lasers usually come in lighter, so we can't take them. Not sure about yours? Here's how to check.

Our cut-off is 1 ton: 2,000 lb, or about 907 kg. Most machining centres, turning centres and industrial routers clear it with room to spare. The small machines are where people get caught out.
Look at the nameplate. It's usually on the back or the side of the machine or the electrical cabinet, and many list the machine weight.
Check the manual. The installation section lists the machine or shipping weight.
Ask us. Send the make and model and we'll look up the spec sheet for you.
How it works
Four steps, written the way a program runs. Most of the back and forth happens on the first call.
Use the form or call. Make, model, roughly what year, whether it runs and where it is. Photos help a lot: the whole machine, the control screen switched on, and the nameplate.
We price it on the machine, its condition, what comes with it and how easy it is to get out of the building. If something is unclear, we ask before we quote.
Your electrician disconnects the power. Drain the coolant and any hydraulic tank, clear out the chips, and make a path from the machine to the door. If you still have the shipping brackets, put them back on.
On the day you pick. We load it, strap it down and haul it away, and the floor space is yours again.
Your quote
No two machines are priced the same way, so we don't publish prices. These are the things we look at.
| What we look at | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Make, model and control | Some machines and controls hold their value far longer than others. |
| Year and spindle hours | Most controls show power-on and spindle hours. A photo of that screen saves a lot of guessing. |
| Condition | Whether it runs, holds tolerance, and any alarms it's showing. |
| Options and extras | Tool changer size, probing, through-spindle coolant, 4th axis, bar feeder, chip conveyor, vacuum pump. |
| Tooling that goes with it | Holders, chucks, vises and fixtures that fit the machine. |
| Getting it out | Door size, floor, stairs or ramps, and how far it is to the truck. |
Shop closures
We can take one machine or every CNC on the floor, as long as each one is over 1 ton. If you're retiring, moving, or have a lease end date coming, tell us the date on the first call and we'll plan the pickups around it.
Selling for an estate or a business that's winding up? That works too. We just need someone who can sign off on the sale and let us into the building.

We don't take machines under 1 ton.
We don't sell machines, parts or tooling, so we can't help if you're shopping for spares.
We don't do repairs, service calls or retrofits.
We don't do electrical disconnects. Your electrician handles that.
We don't buy outside BC.
Where we pick up
From the industrial parks in Port Kells and Annacis Island to fab shops in Mission and Function Junction, these are the areas we cover.
Questions
Yes. A dead control, a crashed spindle or a machine that has sat in the corner for years is still worth a call, as long as it weighs over 1 ton. Tell us what's wrong with it and we'll work that into the quote.

Your electrician. We don't do electrical work. Once the machine is disconnected and the supply is made safe, we take it from there.
